School Uniform

Sri Sai Vidya Vihar School maintains a well-defined uniform policy that reflects the importance of discipline, equality, and a sense of belonging among its students. It is compulsory that every student shall wear school uniform on all working days including special classes, occasions and during all school functions. The children will be sent home if they do not wear the uniform specified for the day.

For students in std VI onwards:

  • Girls : Pink salwar and a white shawl.
  • Boys : Navy blue pants and a light blue shirt.

Uniform care:

  • Maintenance: Faded, torn, and unpressed uniforms are not acceptable. Parents are responsible for ensuring that uniforms are properly washed and ironed.
  • Shoe care: Shoes should be neatly polished daily.

For students in std I to V:

  • Girls: Pink pinafore and white shirt.
  • Boys : Navy blue half trousers and a light blue shirt.

For KG students:

  • Girls: Red check pinafore and a white top.
  • Boys: White shirt and red check half trousers.

Birthday dress:

  • Children from std I to IV: They are allowed to wear colored dress on their birthdays. On these days, boys should wear either half trousers or full trousers, avoiding three-fourth pants, T-shirts, or fancy attire. Girls should not wear armless clothes or short skirts.
  • Shoe Care: Shoes should be neatly polished daily.

Uniform guidelines:

  • Compulsory uniform: It is mandatory for every student to wear the school uniform on all working days, including special classes, occasions, and school functions. Non-compliance may result in students being sent home.

Uniform schedule:

  • Monday & friday: Sai uniform.
  • Thursday: White uniform.
  • Other days: Regular uniform.

Additional attire:

  • Yoga and physical activities: All girls should bring white pyjamas for yoga, physical education, drill, dance, etc., from Class I onwards. Sri Sai Vidya Vihar School’s uniform policy promotes a sense of unity and discipline among students while upholding standards of neatness and decorum. It ensures that students are appropriately dressed for both academic and physical activities.

Footwear:

  • Monsoon season: Black sandals with a back strap are allowed during the monsoon season. After this season, students must wear shoes regularly.
  • Thursday: On all Thursdays, students should wear white uniform with white shoes (not canvas) and socks.
  • Other days: Students should wear school uniform with black shoes.
